Resler-Kerber Optometry provides the highest quality eye-health and vision care to all of our patients. Located in the heart of Old Town Florissant, our practice has been protecting patients’ eyes and helping people see better since Dr. Paul Relser started the practice in 1967. Dr. Deborah Kerber joined the practice in 1992 and purchased the practice in 1994. Dr. Paul Whitten joined the practice in 2000. Dr. Resler retired in May 2010.

Our friendly and professional staff provides eye care for people of all ages using state-of-the-art techniques, instruments, and materials. In addition to vision testing, our comprehensive eye examination will evaluate the health of your eyes. Using the latest equipment and diagnostic techniques and a personal touch, our highly-trained doctors will conduct a variety of tests to diagnose eye diseases including glaucoma, cataracts and those related to other health issues, including hypertension and diabetes

We offer a wide range of eyeglass frames and lenses to meet a variety of needs. From designer frames to the latest in sunglasses to specialty eyewear for recreational or occupational requirements, Resler-Kerber Optometry can make the eye-wear you need!

We carry all types of contact lenses, including bifocal contact lenses, tinted lenses, lenses for astigmatism, and the latest in disposable lenses. In most cases, you can receive your contact lenses on the same day as your examination. Our doctors have been leaders in contact lens technology for decades; we emphasize comprehensive follow-up care.

We also help train future eye doctors. Dr. Kerber and Dr. Whitten are both adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Missouri College of Optometry. We have been providing internship opportunities to students since 1991. If you go somewhere else, there is a good chance that their doctor was trained by one of our doctors.

We are deeply involved in our community. We have been in the same location next door to Florissant City Hall since we started in 1967. Our business and our doctors are members of many civic and professional organizations, including the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau of Eastern Missouri & Southern Illinois, the Rotary Club of Florissant, the Missouri Optometric Association, the St. Louis Optometric Association, and the Heart of America Contact Lens Society, the American Academy of Optometry, and the National Board of Examiner’s in Optometry.
